Nielsen Gets Some Investor Claims Trimmed in GDPR Suit, for Now

Nielsen Holdings PLC investors can move forward with some securities claims against the company, but must amend their would-be class complaint for another shot at others, a federal judge in New York said Monday.

Investors accused the data analytics firm, known for its television ratings, of misleading them about the revenue of one business segment and the effect of the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation on another. They plausibly alleged some claims, but others need more work, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York said.
