The son of actor-director Rob Reiner pleaded not guilty Monday morning to the killing of his parents in their Brentwood home, during a hearing that lasted just minutes.
Nick Reiner was charged two counts of first-degree murder after the December stabbing deaths of his father and mother, Michele Singer Reiner. He faces life in prison without the chance of parole if convicted.
Reiner, 32, appeared in Los Angeles state court with his head shaved and waived his right to a speedy preliminary hearing.
