The Los Angeles federal judge presiding over the National Football League’s antitrust trial scolded an attorney representing Sunday Ticket subscribers for wasting time.
Attorney Sathya S. Gosselin was relitigating prior testimony and talking over sustained objections during his cross-examination of NFL economist Ali Yurukoglu, Judge Philip S. Gutierrez of the US District Court for the Central District of California said.
“I’m telling you right now to stop it,” Gutierrez said to Gosselin, of Hausfeld LLP, raising his voice before a full gallery of lawyers after the jury left the room for a brief break.
