NFL Concussion Settlement Claims Process Not Available to Lender

A company that provides lawsuit funding for plaintiffs won’t be able to recover from the NFL concussion settlement claims administrator funds it advanced to players while they awaited their awards, after the Third Circuit Friday found it lacks jurisdiction to consider the argument.

The case stems from the global settlement resolving claims that the NFL failed to protect its players from concussion risks.
