The New York Mets baseball team collected the biometric information of visitors to its Citi Field stadium without their knowledge or consent in violation of the New York City Biometrics Law, a proposed class action said.
Chris Dowling alleged that the Mets collected his biometric identifiers through cameras deployed around the stadium and illegally made use of the information to increase its profits and reduce the cost of providing security.
