New York Giants Settle Workplace ‘Culture of Violence’ Claims

The New York Giants football team has resolved claims by its former video director that he was fired in retaliation for complaining about workplace violence, according to a New Jersey trial court filing.

The Giants, the team’s general counsel William Heller, and plaintiff David Maltese agreed to dismiss all claims and counterclaims with prejudice in a stipulation filed Tuesday in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division.

Maltese’s counsel, Neil Mullin with Smith Mullin PC in Montclair, N.J., said the parties reached a confidential settlement. Counsel for the Giants didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
