New York Blood Center escaped litigation over a January data breach after three patients elected to withdraw their consolidated class complaint.
NYBC is one of America’s largest community-based, nonprofit blood centers, serving New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. The plaintiffs’ withdrawal of the suit in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York seeks dismissal without prejudice, which would allow them to re-file.
