New Jersey Sued By RNC Over Access to Voter Registration Records

New Jersey Secretary of State Tahesha Way violated the National Voter Registration Act by refusing to provide information on the state’s efforts to maintain accurate voter rolls, the Republican National Committee claims.

The RNC was unlawfully denied access to records on changes to New Jersey’s voter list, including requests from individuals to be removed from the state’s voter roll, according to a lawsuit filed in the US District Court for the District of New Jersey.
