New Jersey Lab, Sales Representative End Retaliation Lawsuit

New Jersey-based diagnostic medical laboratory Spectra Holdco LLC and a whistleblower have ended a False Claims Act suit alleging retaliation for calling attention to Medicare and Medicaid fraud.

Spectra Holdco—previously known as Shiel Holdings LLC—and former sales representative Michael Waldman filed a joint stipulation of dismissal with prejudice Thursday with the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Counsel for Waldman declined to comment. Counsel for Spectra didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
