Arkansas’ legislation restricting social media access is unconstitutional, tech trade group NetChoice said in a new complaint filed Friday, and is subject to a federal court injunction thwarting its previous restrictive efforts to institute age verification and other limitations.
The new lawsuit Friday comes the same day the US Supreme Court upheld a Texas law that requires porn sites to verify user age. The ruling is expected to trigger more age verification laws in other states.
