Tech trade group NetChoice on Thursday asked a federal court to block Georgia’s social media law from going into effect in July on the grounds that the statute is unconstitutional.
Unless enjoined, the law will deprive NetChoice’s member companies and internet users of their “fundamental First Amendment rights,” the trade group alleged in a complaint filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
