Nestle ‘Natural Bliss’ Vanilla Creamer Suit Voluntarily Dropped

A consumer who alleged Nestle USA Inc. misrepresents the amount of real vanilla in “Coffee Mate Natural Bliss” dairy creamer has voluntarily dropped her suit, a federal court filing in Manhattan shows.

The dairy product’s label has vanilla plant imagery, accompanied by representations including “vanilla—natural flavor” and “all natural,” Regina Carter alleged in her suit filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

But the product contains mainly synthetic flavoring, making the label deceptive, she alleged. Carter sought to represent a class of New Yorkers who allegedly overpaid for the creamer.
