Nestlé Consumers Blast Its Tactics in Poland Spring Water Suit

Consumers suing Nestlé Waters North America Inc. for allegedly mislabeling its Poland Spring bottled water say the company misused its summary judgment motion to relitigate settled legal questions and misinterpret their arguments.

The consumers urged the US District Court for the District of Connecticut on Monday to reject Nestlé’s argument that their claims are barred by a 2003 settlement or preempted by federal regulations related to identifying spring water.
