Nelnet allows Google to track people as they use the student loan servicer’s website, which could tip off the search and advertising giant that someone is seeking financial services, a proposed class action lawsuit claims.
“Information related to student loan debt is deeply sensitive and personal,” and the tracking constitutes an invasion of privacy, the plaintiff told the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
