Evidence supported a Nebraska federal jury’s finding that a North Platte skilled nursing facility subjected a female employee to a sexually hostile environment, the Eighth Circuit ruled Thursday.
The decision affirmed a lower court’s more than $700,000 judgment against Linden Court, which is owned by VSL North Platte Court LLC. It also reaffirmed that a single instance of sexual harassment can be enough to support employer liability.
