Suzanne Spellacy, the former general counsel of the Minnesota Timberwolves, recently returned to the team as its top in-house lawyer, a role that likely puts her in the middle of a battle for control of the team.
Spellacy spent the past two-and-a-half years as general counsel for Link Snacks Inc., a privately held food manufacturing company that owns brands like Jack Link’s Beef Jerky. She’s also a board member at New Ulm, Minn.-based Nuvera Communications Inc., a regional broadband and communications company.
