Suns Legacy Partners LLC doesn’t have to face a former DEI leader’s race bias and retaliation claims under Arizona law or negligence-based allegations, a federal judge ruled.

Andrea Trischan waited too long to sue the company behind the Phoenix Suns under the Arizona Civil Rights Act, and her negligent infliction of emotional distress and negligent supervision claims were barred by the state workers’ compensation law, the US District Court for the District of Arizona said.
