NBA Agents Beat Lawsuit Alleging They Bribed Knicks Center

New York Knicks player Mitchell Robinson’s agents won dismissal of his former agent’s claims that they illegally lured the center away with a pickup truck.

Judge Jed S. Rakoff of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York dismissed the suit in a one-page order Monday. An opinion stating the reasons for the dismissal will be issued “in due course,” Rakoff said.

Robinson’s previous agent, David Lee, sued International Athlete Management Inc., IAM Sports and Entertainment Inc., and their president and chief executive officer Raymond Brothers, alleging negligence and tortious interference with a contract.
