Nationstar Sued Over Data Disclosure to Meta, Google, Microsoft

Nationstar Mortgage LLC disclosed the personal information of loan applicants to Meta Platforms Inc., Google LLC, Microsoft Corp., and other third parties without consent in violation of state and federal privacy laws, a proposed federal class action said.

The plaintiffs alleged that Nationstar incorporated tracking technology from tech companies on its website, allowing them to collect information from user interactions, including financial and mortgage application related data.
