National Debt Relief Sued Over Data Sharing With Meta, Google

National Debt Relief LLC illegally intercepted and disclosed the personal financial information of consumers without their consent to Meta Platforms Inc., Google LLC, and other third parties in violation of California privacy law, a proposed federal class action said.

Lead plaintiff Harrison Hantel alleged that NDR installed tracking technology from Meta’s Facebook unit, Google, and other software providers on its website, allowing the third parties to collect information arising from consumers activities there, including their financial information.
