Natera Gets First Nod for $8.25 Million Prenatal Test Settlement

A federal judge approved an $8.25 million settlement resolving litigation alleging Natera Inc. deceptively advertised its Panorama and Vasistera prenatal tests.

The deal is fair and reasonable, and the relief is adequate considering the costs, risks, and delay of trial and appeal, Judge Jon S. Tigar of the US District Court for the Northern District of California said Thursday.
