New Amsterdam FC and Chicago House AC dropped a lawsuit seeking readmission to the National Independent Soccer Association, the third-tier professional minor league excluding them from its 2022 season, after a Delaware judge rejected their bid for a temporary restraining order.
The teams—which play in suburbs of New York and Chicago, respectively—voluntarily dismissed the case Monday from Delaware’s Chancery Court, a few days after Vice Chancellor Paul A. Fioravanti denied their TRO motion Feb. 11.
