N.Y. Auto Dealership Settles Worker’s Sexual Harassment Lawsuit

A Newburgh, N.Y., Chevrolet and Cadillac dealership has settled a lawsuit with an employee who said her complaints that a co-worker made sexual remarks about her and grabbed her breast were improperly handled, federal court records show.

The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York filed an order Jan. 28 dismissing Christine Domingues’ case against Barton Chevrolet Cadillac and owner Ronald Barton.

The parties notified the court they had “reached a settlement in principle,” Judge Philip M. Halpern said.
