MyEyeDr Hit With Nationwide Overtime Lawsuit by Store Managers

MyEyeDr faces allegations it misclassified hundreds of managers as exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act to avoid paying them overtime wages, according to a new lawsuit filed in federal court in Massachusetts.

The proposed collective action was brought by four individuals who worked as general managers at MyEyeDr locations in Indiana, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. They seek to represent other similarly situated GMs in a nationwide FLSA collective.

MyEyeDr sells eyeglasses and provides optometry services at more than 500 locations across the country. The company is legally registered as Capital Vision Services LLC and headquartered in Virginia.
