Musk Accuses Sam Altman of Mishandling OpenAI in New Suit (2)

Elon Musk accused OpenAI Inc., and its leaders Samuel Altman and Greg Brockman, of manipulating him into co-founding the nonprofit venture, and then systematically draining it of all its valuable technology and assets.

Musk’s complaint, filed Monday in the US District Court for the Northern District of California, is part of a long-running dispute between him and Altman over OpenAI’s founding mission. He alleges OpenAI, Altman, and Brockman “intentionally courted and deceived” him to secure financing from the billionaire, preying on his “humanitarian concern about the existential dangers posed by artificial intelligence.”
