A Mississippi medical clinic must face an employee’s claim that a doctor relentlessly harassed her because of her multiple sclerosis.
The ruling Thursday by the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit shows that employers aren’t necessarily relieved of their obligation under federal law to investigate and correct workplace harassment just because the alleged victim asks it not to confront the alleged harasser.
