Mountain Valley Pipeline was dealt another blow after the Fourth Circuit rejected the federal government’s finding that the project won’t jeopardize protected species, Equitrans Midstream Corp. announced Thursday.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service failed to adequately consider the project’s environmental effects when it came to two species of endangered fish, the Roanoke logperch and candy darter, according to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
