Two former employees of a home mortgage lender can continue asserting federal and state claims alleging they weren’t paid for overtime hours, a district court said.
Dina Araneo and Kindra Knutson plausibly alleged that Security National Mortgage Co. violated the Fair Labor Standards Act, Judge Jill N. Parrish of the US District Court for the District of Utah said in Monday opinion denying the lender’s motion to dismiss.
