More Apple Store Workers Covered in $30 Million Bag-Search Case

An additional 105 Apple Inc. employees in California will get a share of the $30.5 million proposed settlement of a long-running lawsuit claiming the company failed to pay store workers for time spent having their bags and iPhones searched.

Judge William Alsup, of the US District Court for the Northern District of California, is scheduled on Jan. 26 to consider final approval of the motion to include workers not covered in the settlement that ended litigation filed in 2013.
