Monster’s $270 Million Jury Verdict Over Bang Drink Stands (1)

Monster Energy Co.‘s $270 million jury award in a false advertising case against its one-time rival energy drink maker, Bang Energy, and its former CEO Jack Owoc was upheld by a federal appeals court Tuesday.

The Los Angeles trial court acted within its discretion by excluding certain evidence against Monster during the five week trial, the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit ruled.
