Mondelez Sheds Clif Bar ‘Climate Neutral’ False Advertising Suit

Mondelez International Inc. convinced a federal judge to dismiss a proposed class action alleging it duped customers into thinking its Clif Kid Zbars are produced without causing pollution.

The bars state the product is “climate neutral certified,” a label that is provided by a third-party organization called Change Climate Project.

As such, “there is no plausible claim of fraud or coercion,” Judge Manish S.
