Moms for Liberty Were Properly Denied Relief in Free Speech Suit

A Tennessee federal court correctly denied a preliminary injunction to Moms of Liberty in their free speech legal challenge alleging that a public school board unfairly conducted public meetings.

Moms For Liberty, which says the board is threatening to chill their speech, failed to show a likelihood of imminent and irreparable harm, because the challenged restrictions are no longer in effect, Judge Jane B. Stranch of the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit said in Tuesday opinion.
