Clean energy company Momentum Solar has settled a proposed class action alleging systemic racial bias with the estate of a Black worker.
The terms of the agreement aren’t stated in the docket, and counsel for the parties didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment. Judge Michael A. Hammer of the US District Court for the District of New Jersey on Wednesday issued a 60-day order of dismissal without prejudice to reopen the matter if the settlement isn’t consummated.
