Modulus-X Seeks Non-Infringement Ruling in Truss Product Fight

Modulus-X Precision Machining said that ModTruss Inc. is wrongfully seeking to enforce trademark rights over a truss product modified from a design ModTruss rejected, according to a complaint.

Dean Collins worked for decades as a technician in the entertainment and sport industries, including for a time for ModTruss, according to the complaint filed in the US District Court for the Central District of California. While he was working for ModTruss, he presented an extruded aluminum truss product that the complaint said was safer and easier to assemble than the products ModTruss had at the time.
