Major League Baseball failed to implement adequate data-security features on its MLB Ballpark digital-ticketing app and exposed consumers to theft of their tickets and personal data, a proposed federal class action said.
The lawsuit appears to be the first to be filed since fans began filling chat threads on Reddit and Facebook in early September with accounts of tickets being stolen from the app.
