MLB Gets Magistrate Judge’s Nod to End New York Privacy Lawsuits

Major League Baseball Advanced Media LP should be free of some lawsuits alleging it improperly shared the video viewing history of users with third parties after a federal appeals court rejected such complaints involving Meta Platforms’ Pixel, a magistrate judge recommended.

The plaintiffs’ case against the MLB were weaker than the multitude of US District Court for the Southern District of New York disputes that have been dismissed after the Second Circuit said in Solomon v.
