The Missouri Supreme Court rejected a request to preemptively review a class action certification denial for an earnings tax dispute between remote workers and the city of St. Louis, forcing the case to go through the regular appeals process.
The Thursday order gave no explanation for the decision.
“It is ordered that the said application be, and the same is hereby denied,” the court said.
