Jackson, Miss. residents can continue with their lawsuit over claims that the transfer of the city’s airport is a race-based bid to take land from its majority Black citizens to give it to “mostly white politicians.”
The residents can continue with their claims alleging the airport takeover violated multiple provisions of the Mississippi Constitution and the Equal Protection Clause of the US Constitution, Judge Carlton W. Reeves of the US District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi.
