A municipal court judge for the Mississippi cities of Grenada and Clarksdale was hit with a 60-day suspension for improperly ordering two police officers to the municipal courtroom and criticizing them over a private legal matter.
Judge Carlos E. Moore, who also practices law with The Cochran Firm, got into a disagreement with the officers at his private law office concerning a search warrant for phone records in a case involving a shooting victim who was Moore’s client. Several days later, he purportedly summoned the officers to the court and chastised them.
