Minnesota, New Hampshire Join Privacy Enforcement Coalition

Minnesota and New Hampshire have joined the Consortium of Privacy Regulators, a multistate California-led body that helps state attorneys general enforce privacy laws, share resources and bring joint investigations.

The privacy laws of both Minnesota and New Hampshire went into effect this year, and both have brought on new staff to enforce them. As in California, consumers in both states now have rights over how businesses use their data, including the power to opt out of collection.
