Mineral Rights Buyer Loses Dispute Over Oil, Gas Royalty Titles

An oil and gas interest management company lost its bid for title to disputed mineral rights it claimed were conveyed to it almost 90 years ago the executor of the original owner’s will, a state appeals court said Thursday.

Texas Petroleum Land Management LLC doesn’t own the mineral rights to 16.66 acres in Howard County because a 1933 conveyance of the rights by the executor of A.M.
