Milwaukee Public Schools, Board to Face White Worker’s Bias Case

Milwaukee Public Schools and the Milwaukee Board of School Directors must face allegations of discrimination on the basis of race and sex, but they’re free of other claims in a former literacy director’s suit.

Although the complaint lacks some details, the worker sufficiently alleged MPS and the school board engaged in race- and sex-based bias, the US District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin said. But the worker can’t pursue other claims, including one for Fair Labor Standards Act retaliation.
