A group of military servicemembers and a transgender advocacy group won on Thursday a bid to temporarily prohibit the Trump administration from enforcing a ban on transgender individuals in the military.
The plaintiffs are likely to succeed on the merits of their constitutional claims and face irreparable harm from potential separation proceedings imposed by the military’s implementation of President Donald Trump’s Jan. 27 executive order banning transgender individuals from serving in the military, Judge Benjamin H.
