Milberg Coleman Bryson Phillips Grossman LLC made robocalls soliciting participation in Camp Lejeune toxic-water lawsuits in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, a new proposed federal class action said.
About 1,100 Camp Lejeune toxic-water lawsuits have been filed in the US District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, but court officials are bracing for thousands more. The government has projected it might ultimately pay out $21 billion in Camp Lejeune claims to veterans who blame their cancer, Parkinson’s disease and other illnesses on exposure to contaminated water at the base.
