Kamal Koraitem failed to present evidence showing he engaged in “protected activity” under California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act, which bars retaliation against workers who complain about national origin discrimination, said Judge Edward J. Davila of the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
The judge granted Microchip summary judgment on that claim Wednesday, but denied the semiconductor corporation’s motion regarding several other allegations.
