The office of Michigan’s attorney general on Wednesday again urged the state Supreme Court to overturn two prior rulings that it says hamstring its desire to investigate
The rulings, from 1999 and 2007, make it difficult to protect residents from price gouging on groceries, cars, home improvements, and medications under the Michigan Consumer Protection Act, Assistant Attorney General Darrin F. Fowler said during oral arguments.
