The Michigan Court of Appeals said Wednesday it found no reason to overturn a state commission’s approval of an underground tunnel to replace four miles of Enbridge Inc.’s Line 5 oil and gas pipeline that crosses the Great Lakes.
The state Public Service Commission issued “a comprehensive and detailed opinion,” the court said in its 31-page ruling.
“The Commission acted reasonably when one considers its actions and rulings as a whole,” Judges Michael J. Kelly, Anica Letica, and Randy J. Wallace said in the per curiam opinion.
