Michelin Star Restaurant Says Home Brand Infringed Trademark (1)

Quince & Co. LLC, a San Francisco restaurant, has accused an online clothing and home goods store by the same name of infringing its trademark.

According to the restaurant’s complaint, filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of California on Tuesday, the online retailer formerly known as Last Brand Inc. has caused multiple instances of consumer confusion.

Antonieta Moreland, a spokesperson for the store, called the lawsuit “meritless” and said there was no risk of confusion between the companies.
