Michael Rapaport Fails to Revive Suit Against Barstool Sports

Barstool Sports Inc. won’t face revived defamation claims by comedian Michael Rapaport over a series of comments made by Barstool personalities on social media and the sports and pop culture blog’s platforms, the Second Circuit ruled Tuesday.

The US District Court for the Southern District of New York got it right when it found that Rapaport “failed to establish that the challenged statements were actionable statements of fact,” the appeals court said in a non-precedential order.
