MGM Resorts’ $45 Million Data Breach Deal Gets Final Court Nod

MGM Resorts International will pay $45 million to settle lawsuits arising from data breaches that took place in 2019 and 2023 that exposed the personal information of millions of customers.

Judge Gloria M. Navarro of the US District Court for the District of Nevada on Wednesday granted the plaintiffs’ motion for final approval of the settlement from the bench, with a written order to follow.
